DAVE SHERMAN is among the "old school" of "big-voiced, personality-driven" air talents who knows how to "connect" with listeners, with a combination of enthusiasm, humor, warmth, and an almost encyclopedic knowledge of much of the music he plays, and entertainment-based "fun facts." A Connecticut native who grew up on New York City radio, not only with stations like WMCA, WABC, and WINS in their Top-40 years, but also WNEW-AM when it was THE station for "Traditional MOR"; as well as AOR stations, like the iconic WNEW-FM, and Oldies WCBS-FM.
Dave is also an accomplished bass and guitar player; and enjoys SUCBA diving, as well as collecting 50's/60's-era TV shows on DVD.
We welcome Dave Sherman, to our family of extreme talents! Dave was morning talent at WMNI when I worked there as an account executive late 1999. He is just superb, incredible voice.
